I haven't been this excited about anything in a long time.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
Yes, I am going to give you a chance to sponsor me in this ride.
A couple of days ago I got this random email telling me there wasn't much time left. "What's this?" I asked myself, and started to punch delete, but then paused.
The more I read, the more intrigued I became. The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride raising funds for men's health efforts. The pictures of guys decked out in classically dapper duds made me smile. Being a man with certain issues, and having family who have battled prostate cancer, I wanted to find out more.
Being the skeptic I am, I also had to dig down a bit into the organization behind it. Are they legit? Or are they another one of those groups that raises funds to pay their staff salaries and little more. What I found out made me lose my skepticism and allowed me to move to the signing up phase.
I downloaded The Distinguished Gentleman's Fund Investment Report. I followed that to discover more about Movemeber, with which TDGR is closely aligned.

What I could find online about The Movemeber Foundation impressed me. I was able to satisfy my skepticism, even downloading a copy of their 2025 IRS Form 990.

So I signed up to ride in the Pensacola group.
I did the signup and made a donation of $50.00. They provide a public profile page where I can post stuff and where you can also make a donation in support of my participation in the ride.
As best I can tell, The Distinquished Gentleman's Ride and Movember are Things That Work. I hope you will consider donating.
